About the Journal
Journal of Nutrition and Health Care (JUNIC) is a peer-reviewed, open-access scholarly journal dedicated to advancing knowledge in nutrition science and its relationship with human health. The journal provides an interdisciplinary platform for researchers, health professionals, nutrition scientists, policymakers, and practitioners to publish high-quality research addressing nutritional determinants, interventions, outcomes, and policies across different populations and stages of life.
JUNIC publishes theoretical, empirical, clinical, epidemiological, experimental, and policy-oriented studies in nutrition and health. Particular attention is given to research that strengthens understanding of the relationship between diet, nutrients, food systems, metabolism, health outcomes, disease prevention, and population well-being.
The journal encourages contributions from diverse national and international contexts and particularly values manuscripts with clear research questions, rigorous methodologies, appropriate ethical standards, meaningful analytical contributions, and implications for nutrition science, clinical practice, public health, or nutrition policy.
Focus and Scope
JUNIC publishes original research articles, review articles, systematic reviews, conceptual studies, and policy-oriented contributions addressing nutrition science and its implications for human health. The journal particularly welcomes manuscripts within the following areas:
