Publication Ethics
Journal of Nutrition and Health Care is a peer-reviewed journal published by Professorline Int. Publisher. This journal is published annually in April and October. This journal is intended as a means of scientific publication in the field of Public health, both theoretical and applied. The articles published are the results of original research, reviews on the latest progress of a particular topic, and case studies of health care. This scientific code of ethics regulates the parties involved in the Junic publication process, including publishers, editors, peer reviewers, and authors. This Scientific Publication Code of Ethics upholds three ethics in publication, namely
- Neutrality, which is free from conflicts of interest in publication management;
- Justice, namely giving authorship rights to those who are entitled as authors; and
- Honesty is free from duplication, fabrication, falsification, and plagiarism in publications.
Publisher Responsibilities
The publisher of the Journal of Nutrition and Health Care is the Collaborate-Professorline Int. Publisher, which has the following responsibilities:
- Publish articles that have been edited, reviewed, and laid out following the rules of publishing scientific journals.
- Guarantee academic freedom for editors and reviewers in carrying out their duties and responsibilities.
- Maintain privacy and protect intellectual property, copyright, and editorial freedom.
Editors' Responsibilities
The Journal of Nutrition and Health Care editor is responsible for deciding which manuscripts are suitable for publication. The editor's decision is determined through an editorial board meeting which refers to the applicable legal requirements regarding defamation, copyright infringement, duplication, data fabrication, data falsification, and plagiarism. In reviewing and receiving the manuscript, the Junic editor team based on the principle of equal treatment in deciding to publish the manuscript without distinguishing the author's race, gender, religion, ethnicity, nationality, or political ideology. The Junic editorial board will not disclose any information about the submitted manuscripts except with the author's permission. Manuscripts that are not published will not be used by the editor of the Junic for their purposes and will be returned directly to the author.
Reviewers Responsibilities
The reviewer assists editors in making editorial decisions on submitted manuscripts provided that:
- Reviewer of the Junic responsible for the recommendations of the manuscripts it reviews.
- Review of the manuscript is carried out objectively and is supported by clear arguments.
- Reviewers of the Junic are responsible for quotations, references, duplication, data fabrication, data falsification, and plagiarism of the texts it reviews.
- Junic reviewers must always maintain the confidentiality of the information and not use information from the manuscripts he reviews for personal interest.
Author's Responsibilities
Authors must present the text of their thoughts or research honestly and without duplication, data fabrication, data falsification, and plagiarism. The author is responsible for the submitted confirmation of the written manuscript. Authors must indicate references to the opinions and work of others cited. Authors must write texts ethically, honestly, and responsibly under applicable scientific regulations. The author does not mind if the manuscript undergoes editing during the review process and layout without changing the substance or main idea of the writing. Authors submitted to the Junic: Journal of Nutrition and Health Care cannot submit to other series before the complete review process.
Originality, authorship, and copyright
The manuscripts submitted for publication must be research works written in English that have not been previously published and are not being considered for publication elsewhere. All the authors must have agreed to the submission and the order of their names on the title page. They must also have agreed that the corresponding author may act on their behalf throughout the editorial review and publication process. The corresponding author is responsible for obtaining such an agreement. Requests for changes in authorship (order of listing or addition or deletion of names) after submission should be accompanied by signed statements of agreement from all the parties involved. To maintain and protect the publisher‘s ownership and rights and to protect the original authors from misappropriations of their published work, author(s) are required to sign a Journal Publishing Agreement and send it to the editorial office (admin@junic.com or junic@proffessorline.com).
Permission
The author is responsible for acquiring permission(s) to reproduce any copyrighted figures, tables, data, or text that are being used in the submitted paper. Authors should note that text quotations of more than 250 words from a published or copyrighted work will require a grant of permission from the original publisher to reprint. The written permission letter(s) must be submitted together with the manuscript.
Editorial review and revision
All papers will be critically read by at least two anonymous reviewers, selected for their competence in the subject area of the paper. Acceptance of the paper will depend upon its scientific merit and suitability for the journal. A paper may be accepted in its original form or subject to revision. The reviewers' (and editors') suggestions will be conveyed to the author, who will then have an opportunity to revise the paper. A manuscript returned to an author for revision can be held for a maximum of eight weeks. The accepted paper will be edited by native English speakers. The cost of language editing services is currently free.
Proofs
Galley proofs (PDF format) for an accepted article will be sent by e-mail to the corresponding author for copyediting corrections. The core content of an article cannot be changed at this time. It is the author's responsibility to check the entire manuscript, including tables, figure legends and cited reference numbers, not just the items queried. The proofs should be corrected and mailed to the editorial office within 48 hours of receipt to expedite publication. Only one set of corrections will be accepted. In other words, it is important to ensure that all of your corrections are sent to us in one communication.
Reprints
Five free reprint copies of the published article will be shipped to the corresponding authors in Indonesia only, approximately two weeks after the issue is printed. Authors, including overseas authors, who wish to purchase reprints, are required to complete the Reprint Order Form, which will be sent with the galley proofs to corresponding authors. This form must be returned together with the corrected galley proofs. Reprints are supplied only in multiples of 30 for a fee of 100 euros per 30 copies, inclusive of shipping charges.
